Re sizing your photo is a simple step. In MS Photoed open the image and go to _I_mage then to _R_esize. Try to get the width of your picture to within an 1/8" of the maximum. Mess around with the "Allow Distortion" option to stretch it to the biggest size possible. Play around with it. Sometimes images all but explode when you mess around with their size. Try stretching it in different file types to get the best resolution.
